Christian Siegmund von Aschersleben (* between 1640 and 1660 in Polßen in the Uckermark ; † September 11, 1709 near Malplaquet ) was a royal Prussian colonel and commander of the Cuirassier Regiment No. 2 .

Life

Christian Siegmund von Aschersleben was 1681 captain and 1692 lieutenant-colonel in the Cuirassiers Nos. 2, the boss , the then Kurprinz I. Friedrich Wilhelm was. On January 19, 1703 he became a colonel and in 1704 commander and successor to Imbert Rollaz du Rosey . His regiment was part of the contingent that was paid in Dutch during the War of the Spanish Succession . He fell in 1709 in the Battle of Malplaquet .

His father was Sigismund von Aschersleben († 1695). Christian Siegmund von Aschersleben was married to Adelgunde Louise von Beneckendorff . The Saxon-Weimar lieutenant colonel Caspar Siegmund von Aschersleben was his son.
