Georg Wilhelm Hessenberg

Georg Wilhelm Hessenberg (born August 10, 1808 in Frankfurt am Main ; † August 31, 1860 there ) was a German consistorial councilor and politician .

Georg Wilhelm Hessenberg studied law and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD.

From 1844 to 1857 he was senator in the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt , in 1850 and 1854 junior mayor, from 1839 to 1848 and 1853 and 1856 member of the legislative body of which 1852 to 2854 and 1856 as president. From 1848 to 1848 he was a member of the Constituent Assembly of the Free City of Frankfurt . In 1848 he was a member of the preliminary parliament .

From 1845 to 1846 Hessenberg was chairman of the Physikalischer Verein in Frankfurt.
