Christian von Richthofen

Christian von Richthofen (born December 23, 1955 in Steinbach im Hochtaunuskreis ) is a German actor and musician . He is known, among other things, for the Rhythm'n'Crash show Auto Auto! , which he initially performed internationally together with the musician Stefan Gwildis .

Life

Von Richthofen trained as a musician at the Hamburg University of Music and has since worked with a large number of bands and musicians, such as Marianne Rosenberg . With the Einstürzende Neubauten , Richthofen took part musically in Peter Zadek's revue Andi .

In 1998 he took part in the German preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest in Bremen under the pseudonym Fokker and took fourth place with the title Gel-Song (Small Melody) ; the music was produced by Annette Humpe . In 2019 he presented an album with Sinatra songs, which he recorded together with the big band of Hendrik Schwolow .

In addition, Christian von Richthofen can look back on more than 20 years as an actor. For example, he played at the youth theater in Kiel, at the Burgtheater in Vienna and under Peter Zadek in the Deutsches Schauspielhaus . Since 1992 he has been a freelance artist and next to Auto Auto! to be seen in his solo program paper orchestra in cooperation with the Hamburg Scharlatan Theater .

family

Christian von Richthofen comes from the Richthofen noble family . He was born as the third of four children in Steinbach im Taunus and comes from the first marriage of the industrial clerk and qualified pedagogue Volkmar von Richthofen (* 1925 at Schloss Klein-Rosen, today Rogoźnica in Poland ) with the naturopath Hildgund, née. Kinzel.
