Christiane Berg (born December 24, 1957 in Eilenburg , GDR ) is a German agricultural engineer and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Berg graduated with a degree in agricultural engineering (FH) , specializing in animal breeding. Until September 2016 she worked as an employee in the sales consultancy of Roland Berg office and object furnishings based in Groß Stieten .

Berg is a member of the district board of the CDU NWM and has been a member of the district council of the Northwest Mecklenburg district since 2011 . In the state elections in September 2016 , she ran as a direct candidate for the CDU in constituency 28 (Northwest Mecklenburg II) . She achieved a share of 20.5% of the first votes and was elected to the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania via the state list of her party .

Berg is an honorary member of the Groß Stieten volunteer fire brigade and a member of the board of “Kinderwelt e. V. “ Wismar , member of the MIT MV.

Christiane Berg is married and has two children.
