Christin Zacher (born April 26, 1970 in Berlin ) is a German actress and singer .

Life

Christin Zacher graduated in 1993 from the "Hanns Eisler" University of Music in Berlin . Her first engagement was at the Theater des Westens , where she played under the direction of Helmut Baumann and Jürg Burth . She also played at the Munich Deutsches Theater, at the open-air plays in Schwäbisch Hall and at the Saarland State Theater , the latter as Fantine in Les Misérables .

Since 2004 she has played the roles of Papagena in Die Zauberflöte , Mme. Dindon in A Cage Full of Fools , Maria in the world premiere of Mozart in Manhattan , Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show , Adele in Die Fledermaus , Lucy in Die Dreigroschenoper , at the Gandersheim Cathedral Festival since 2004 . Eurydice in Orpheus in the underworld and Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet . In 2006 she won the " Roswitha Ring " as the most outstanding actress.

As a vocal soloist, she has appeared with the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg , the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra , the Pilsen Radio Symphony Orchestra and the LPO NRW .

A cross-section of her solo programs was published on CD Sehnsucht 2005. Since 2006, Christin Zacher has performed together with the actor Reinhard Krökel and the pianist Scott Lawton with the program When Doctors Love in German-speaking countries.
