The Christina River is a right tributary of the Delaware River in the US states of Pennsylvania , Maryland, and Delaware .
The Christina River has its source in Franklin Township in Chester County, Pennsylvania . It initially flows south to Maryland, then turns east, reaches Delaware and joins the Delaware River at Wilmington . Tributaries are East Christina River, West Christina River, White Clay Creek, and Brandywine Creek . The Christina River has a length of about 56 km and drains an area of 1463 km².
