Christina Tasch (born November 11, 1959 in Küllstedt ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She has been a member of the Thuringian state parliament since 1998 and has been chairwoman of the CDU district association in the Eichsfeld district since 2009 .

Career

Christina Tasch completed an apprenticeship as a business clerk from 1976 to 1978 and then worked as a payroll clerk until 1990. In 1990 she became the full-time mayor of the municipality of Küllstedt , in which she has been again since 2004, now honorary mayor. From 1999 to 2004 she was also a member of the Eichsfeld district council . From 1995 to 1998, Tasch was chairwoman of the administrative association Westerwald-Obereichsfeld .

On October 4, 1998, Christina Tasch became a member of the Thuringian state parliament, replacing Werner Grünert . In the 1999 state elections , she got a place in the state parliament; since the state elections in 2004 , she has always been a directly elected member of the Eichsfeld II constituency . From 2014 to 2020 she was one of three deputy parliamentary group leaders in her state party. She is the environmental and nature conservation spokesperson for the CDU parliamentary group and is a member of the committee for the environment, energy and nature conservation.

From 1993 to 2010 Tasch was state chairwoman of the women's union in Thuringia, in November 2010 she became honorary chairwoman of this association. Tasch has been chairwoman of the CDU district association in the Eichsfeld district since 2009. From November 2010 to November 2012 she was Deputy State Chairwoman of the CDU Thuringia.

Since 2010 she has been chairing the Friends of the Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal e. V. true. She is against the further construction of wind turbines on the "castle-crowned mountains" of Thuringia and puts the protection of the cultural landscape and the bird life threatened by the wind farms in the foreground.

Tasch is married and has three children. She is of Roman Catholic faith.
