The Eichsfeld II constituency (constituency 2) is a state electoral district in Thuringia .
The constituency includes the cities and communities Am Ohmberg , Breitenworbis , Buhla , Büttstedt , Dingelstädt , Effelder , Gernrode , Großbartloff , Haynrode , Kirchworbis , Küllstedt , Leinefelde-Worbis , Niederorschel , Sonnenstein and Wachsedt from the Eichsfeld district . This pattern has hardly changed since 1994. The constituency of Worbis I had a similar profile in the 1990 state elections.
The constituency, with its high Catholic population, is considered a CDU stronghold.
