From the district of Saalfeld-Rudolstadt, it includes the communities Allendorf , Bad Blankenburg , Bechstedt , Cursdorf , Deesbach , Döschnitz , Katzhütte , Königsee , Meura , Rohrbach , Rudolstadt (excluding the districts of Ammelstädt , Breitenheerda , Eschdorf , Geitersdorf , Haufeld , Heilsberg , Milbitz , Remda , Sundremda , Teichel , Teichröda and Treppendorf ), Saalfeld / Saale (only the district Wittgendorf ), Schwarzatal , Schwarzburg , Sitzendorf and Unterweißbach . In the state election in 1994 the constituency was still called Schwarza circuit I .
