It comprises the southern part of the district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen with the communities Belrieth , Birx , Christes , Dillstädt , Einhausen , Ellingshausen , Erbenhausen , Frankenheim / Rhön , Friedelshausen , Grabfeld (only the district Wölfershausen ), Kaltennordheim (only the districts Aschenhausen , Kaltensundheim , Kaltenwestheim , Melpers , Mitteldorf , Oberkatzand Unterweid ), Kühndorf , Leutersdorf , Mehmels , Meiningen , Neubrunn , Ober Maßfeld-Grimmenthal , Oberweid , Rhönblick , Rippershausen , Ritschenhausen , Rohr , Schwallungen , Schwarza , Stepfershausen , Sülzfeld , Untermaßfeld , Utendorf , Vachdorf , Wasungen and Zella-Mehlis (only the Benshausen district ).
