At that time, the Friedelshausen court included the places Friedelshausen, Oberkatz , Unterkatz , Oepfershausen , Hümpfershausen with the Sinnershausen monastery , Wahns , Schwarzbach and a large number of deserted areas, including Seifendorf, Dörrensolz and Hahnberg. For the area of the Friedelshausen court, which was expanded a few times at the beginning of the 14th century, the name " Amt Sand " appeared for the first time in 1350 , without a reliable explanation of the name being given. The Office has since sand with the centering identical Friedelshausen.

Friedelshausen was affected by the persecution of witches from 1609 to 1699 : 13 people were involved in witch trials , six accused were burned, one man was expelled from the country, and the outcome of three trials is unknown. The first victim known by name was Ottilia, Michael Diller's wife, in 1613.
