The district of Quelitz , which has merged seamlessly with Unterweißbach in the north, ends about 300 meters before the dam wall, which is over 100 meters high . In the middle of the local area, the confluence of the Weißbach follows from the left into the Lichte. Further down the valley follows the district of Mankenbachsmühle, which was incorporated in 2018. To the left of this is the district of Neu-Leibis , which has existed since 1994 and which houses the residents who had to leave Leibis due to the construction of the dam. Here the light flows into the Schwarza from the right . The area around Unterweißbach is extremely wooded. The highest mountain is the 709 meter high Quittelsberg, two kilometers south-east .
