Christine Boisson

Christine Boisson (born April 8, 1956 in Salon-de-Provence , Bouches-du-Rhône , France ) is a French actress .

Boisson's career began in 1974 when she applied to a model agency in Paris, where she became aware of fashion photographer Just Jaeckin and hired her for her first film, Emmanuelle, alongside Sylvia Kristel . Through her participation in the French contribution to the sex wave of the 1970s, she was primarily associated with this genre by the German audience, although she did not participate in the later sequels . In France, on the other hand, she became a very productive character actress.

She first enrolled at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique (CNSAD) and graduated in 1977. She gained experience in the theater and worked on film with important directors of her time in the 1980s. Her artistically reputable films have not met with commercial success.

In 1984 she was the first recipient of the Romy Schneider Prize for the interpretation of the Manu in Rue barbare by Gilles Béhat .
