Christine Novaković

Christine Novaković (born July 19, 1964 in Kastelruth , South Tyrol as Christine Leitner , married Licci , married Novaković ) is a bank manager at UBS and an art dealer .

From 1984 to 1990 she studied business administration and European commercial law with a degree in business administration at the Luigi Bocconi University of Economics in Milan . She began her professional career in July 1990 as a trainee in bond trading at Dresdner Bank AG in Milan. In 1992 she moved to UBS AG in Frankfurt am Main in the Treasury / Fixed Income department .

In 1996, she became head of Treasury for Central Europe at Citibank AG in Frankfurt , where she was responsible for the 1997 warrant business and in 1999 it rose to the board of AG Citibank on. In 2001 she took over the chairmanship of Citibank Privatkunden AG in Germany. In May 2004 she left Citibank. At the beginning of 2005 she joined the board of directors of Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG , with responsibility for private customer business. She resigned in November of the same year after the bank was taken over by the Italian UniCredit, because the influence of German management in the future bank was very limited. Since 2004 the manager has also been an active member of the steering committee of Südstern , the network of South Tyroleans abroad.

She is an art dealer at Barr & Ochsner, based in Zurich and New York .

Christine Novaković has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken since April 8, 2008 .

Christine Novakovic has been Head of Corporate & Institutional Clients at UBS Switzerland since February 1, 2011. On April 7, 2014, she was appointed Head of UBS Investment Bank Switzerland.

She is also a member of the jury for “Top Job”, the award for the best employers among German medium-sized companies. With expert knowledge from practice, she helps to decide which company is "Employer of the Year".
