Christoph Hartmann Schacher

Christoph Hartmann Schacher (born September 3, 1633 in Leipzig ; † August 29, 1690 ibid) was a German lawyer .

Life

Christoph Hartmann Schacher was the son of the legal scholar Quirinus Schacher ; his brother was Friedrich Quirin Schacher.

He enrolled at the University of Leipzig and began studying law, which he continued at the University of Jena and the University of Altdorf . After graduating, he went on a study tour of Central Germany and received his doctorate in 1663 for Dr. jur. utr.

In 1664 he was ordinarius advocate, 1666 faculty adjunct , 1668 assessor at the Leipzig Faculty of Law and in 1670 senior court and consistorial advocate . In 1683 he was elected councilor and the following year he became city ​​judge in Leipzig in 1684 .

Christoph Hartmann Schacher was married to Catharina (* August 28, 1635 - December 30, 1711), daughter of the Leipzig council architect Quirinus Schacher (1592–1667) since July 1, 1658. The names of their children are known:
