Christoph Kreuzer (born September 9, 1982 in Villach ) is a former Dutch ski jumper of Austrian descent.

Career

Kreuzer went to Austria early for ski jumping and trained in Villach . He later started for the Villach and Netherlands Ski Federation . On January 2, 2002 he started for the first time in his adopted home Austria jumping in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup 2001/02 in Innsbruck . After three unsuccessful competitions in Austria, on January 19, 2002 he made the first COC points. So he finished jumping in Courchevel, France, in 22nd place. Because of this increase in performance, he was on the squad for the World Cup jumping on January 26, 2002 in Sapporo, Japan . Surprisingly, he was able to win the first points in his first competition in this series and finished the jumping in 29th place. In the team competition, however, he was only eleventh with the Dutch team. For a year he did not contest jumping in the World Cup and continued to compete in the Continental Cup. At the Ski Flying World Championship in Harrachov in 2002 he was 44. From January 23, 2003, Kreuzer started again in the World Cup parallel to the Continental Cup, but could not win any more World Cup points. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2003 in Val di Fiemme he was 50 on the normal hill. After further jumps in the Continental Cup, where he only jumped to the lower ranks, he ended his active ski jumping career after jumping on January 18, 2004 in Bischofshofen .

With his personal best distance of 162 meters, established in Planica 2002, he holds the Dutch record in ski flying .
