Christoph Richter (politician)

Christoph Richter (born January 10, 1942 in Hartmannsdorf ) is a German veterinarian and politician ( CDU ). He is a former member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life

Christoph Richter attended EOS in Burgstädt , where he also graduated from high school. He then did a practical year at the teaching and research farm in Wachau / Leipzig. This was followed by a degree in veterinary medicine in Leipzig . The state examination put judges from the year 1967th Between 1968 and 1990 he worked as a practical veterinarian in the state veterinary system in the Hainichen district . In 1988 he was a specialist veterinarian for sheep. Christoph Richter was honorary chairman of the State Board of Veterinary Association of Saxony.

Richter is an Evangelical Lutheran, married and has two children.

politics

Christoph Richter has been a member of the CDU since 1968. Between 1976 and 1980 he was local group chairman of the CDU in Greifendorf (today in Rossau ). From February 1990 to 1992 district chairman of the CDU in Hainichen and then from 1992 to 1995 in Mittweida . From 1971 to 1990 Richter was the successor candidate of the People's Chamber.

In October 1990 Richter was elected to the Saxon state parliament via constituency 58 (Hainichen) with a share of 57.2 percent of the vote. There he was a member of the Environment Committee, the Committee on Agriculture, Food and Forestry and the Laboratory Investigation Committee of the Saxon State Parliament. In June 1999, in the second electoral term, Richter again moved into the Saxon state parliament as a replacement for Ingolf Wappler for the remaining three months of the legislative period .
