Christoph Schwarz (born September 8, 1986 in Schwerin ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Christoph Schwarz is the son of the former GDR national players Detlev and Martina Schwarz . He grew up in Norderstedt after the reunification and when he was thirteen came to the volleyball boarding school in Schwerin. From 2005 he played for the second division club SV Warnemünde . In 2007, the Bundesliga club Hamburg Cowboys signed the player. A year later, Christoph Schwarz switched to league competitor SCC Berlin , with whom he took third place in the European Challenge Cup in 2010 and became German runner-up in 2011. Then he played for local rivals Netzhoppers KW-Bestensee .

Christoph Schwarz is also active as a beach volleyball player at national tournaments for Hamburger SV . With Konstantin Wulff he finished 13th in the German championships in Timmendorfer Strand in 2013 .
