Christoph Walter (actor)

Christoph Walter (born April 18, 1983 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ) is a German actor , cabaret artist and DJ .

Career

Walter grew up in Oberau an der Loisach . During his school days he took part in the annual school theater productions .

Walter has been a permanent member of the small theater in Garmisch-Partenkirchen since 2008, under the direction of Rainer Pokorny, Regina Rohrbeck and Tatjana Pokorny, and has worked on stage and acting projects in other productions, including the Red Door project . In the Bavarian Television Walter had in the series home is at home guest appearances in episodes 907 and 2157th

In 2013 Walter performed his first solo cabaret program entitled Ganz Alloa in Kulturfrühling in Wallgau . The second solo program Leif and in color followed in 2015 .

In 2014 Walter wrote a Bavarian version for the play Der Neffe als Uncle of Friedrich Schiller .

In 2017, the reading by Ludwig Thomas Stücken, arranged by Walter , premiered in the small theater in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the occasion of the author's 150th birthday.

In January 2018 Walter founded the Werdenfelser Kabinettl - Das Bavarieté , together with Alexandra Kiening and Cornelia Rettinger , which works to preserve cabaret .

Walter is repeatedly involved in charitable causes, most recently for the “Community Foundation Added Value” in Garmisch-Partenkirchen or for the orphanage “Baby Sarah's Home” in the fundraising campaign South America meets South Africa .
