Christoph von Röder

Christoph von Röder also Rödern ( April 6, 1618 - February 2, 1679 ) was the Prussian high marshal.

Life

Origin and family

Christoph von Roeder was a member of the Prussian line of those of Roeder . His parents were Erhard von Röder and Esther, née von Polenz . He married Anna Magdalena von Rappe from the Angerapp family . The marriage produced at least three sons and one daughter:

Career

Röder first became district administrator in 1654 and tribunal administrator in 1661. He was Oberkastner in 1663 and from February 4, 1664 Captain of Labiau . On March 1st in the same year he became Vogt zu Fischhausen . On July 4, 1667, he joined as a bailiff after Schaacken . Finally, on April 2, 1678, he was appointed Oberrat and Obermarschall of the Duchy of Prussia .

Röder was the heir to Metgethen and Tranckwitzhoefen.
