Christopher Kakooza

Christopher Kakooza (born November 15, 1952 in Lusaze , Uganda ) is Bishop of Lugazi .

Life

Christopher Kakooza received on 3 June 1983 by the Archbishop of Kampala, Emmanuel Cardinal Kiwanuka Nsubuga , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 2, 1999 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Casae in Numidia and Auxiliary Bishop in Kampala. The Archbishop of Kampala, Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala , donated him episcopal ordination on April 17th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Masaka , John Baptist Kaggwa , and the Bishop of Lugazi , Matthias Ssekamaanya .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Lugazi on November 4, 2014 . The inauguration took place on January 3 of the following year.
