Christophorus Tri Harsono
Christophorus Tri Harsono (born January 18, 1966 in Bogor , Indonesia ) is an Indonesian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Purwokerto .
Life
After attending the Stella Maris Small Seminary in Bogor, he studied philosophy and theology at the Catholic University of Bandung and received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Bogor on February 5, 1995 .
From 1996 to 1998 he was a teacher at the Small Seminary in Bogor and a pastor in the parish of Rangkas Bitung. He then studied Islamic studies in Rome and Cairo until 2001. From 2001 to 2014 he was the rector and teacher of the Great Seminary in Bogor, as well as a lecturer in Islamic studies. From 2014 he was Vicar General of the Diocese of Bogor.
On July 14, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Purwokerto. He received his episcopal ordination on October 16, 2018 in Purwokerto, the Archbishop of Semarang , Robertus Rubiyatmoko ; Co- consecrators were Henricus Pidyarto Gunawan OCarm , Bishop of Malang , and Paskalis Bruno Syukur OFM , Bishop of Bogor.
