The group of companies comprises the five divisions of Offset , Digital Printing , Packaging and Label Printing , Post Press, and Coding and Packing . These offer products and solutions from various internationally known manufacturers.
The Offset division focuses on the sale of machines , systems and materials for the printing industry . The Digital Printing division comprises the sale of products and solutions from various market leaders such as Hewlett-Packard, Canon, Epson and Agfa in the field of digital printing .
The division Packaging and Label Printing includes the distribution of offset, flexo , screen , letterpress or hybrid printing presses for the labeling and the printing of packaging and solutions for finishing, further and final processing.
Postpress includes solutions for collating, inserting, single or sticking, addressing, packaging, stacking, foiling and strapping of print media and direct mail products.
The Coding and Packing division specializes in the sale of solutions for coding and marking , packaging with cardboard or film , labeling, as well as strapping and stretching.
history
The company was founded in 1946 by Paul A. Broglie in Zurich with a focus on supplying the graphics industry. As a result, the Chromos Group expanded at home and abroad, both through the establishment of its own subsidiaries and through various takeovers that were grouped under the umbrella of Prografica AG. Among them is Fujifilm (Switzerland) AG , which was taken over in 1997 . The IMSAG, Kelva.com and Videal.ch also belong to the group of companies.
