The Cima Cavallar ( Slovenian Kavalarka ) is a mountain in the Karawanken Mountains in Friuli-Venezia Giulia , near the border triangle of Austria , Slovenia and Italy . The summit is at an altitude of 1352 m slm
geography
The Cima Cavallar is located between the villages Weißenfels and Rateče on the orographically right side of the valley of the Weißenfelser valley northwest of the Ratschacher saddle . The valley separates the Julian Alps in the south from the Karawanken in the north.
A chapel in honor of Our Lady of the Snow was built on the mountain and is located at 1275 m slm. It is said to have been consecrated in 1941 and is currently being looked after by the parish of Tarvisio .
