The Cima Tosa ( 3133.5 m slm ) is after the Cima Brenta the second highest peak of the Brenta group in the southern Limestone Alps of the Italian province of Trento . Before the ice cap melted , its height was given as 3173 m slm .
The Cima Tosa stands in the central Brenta ridge and borders the Val Brenta alta to the south. The easiest approach is from the east from Sentiero dell 'Ideale (junction at approx. 2700 m). The Cima-Tosa northern ice channel is one of the most famous classic ice climbs in the Eastern Alps.
