Claire Pinheiro

Claire Pinheiro (born May 24, 1948 in Paris , † September 28, 1999 in Clamart ) was a French film editor and sound designer .

Life

Claire Pinheiro entered the film business as a sound designer in the early 1980s. Georges Lautner's comedy film Is that really love, darling? (1981) with Miou-Miou in the lead role was her first sound editing work. When Bruno Nuyttens award-winning biopic Camille Claudel with Isabelle Adjani and Gérard Depardieu Pinheiro 1988 was responsible for the sound editing, as in 1990 in Robert Altman's Vincent and Theo and 1992 when Camus film version Plague .

From 1982 she also worked as a film editor. As such, it was used several times under the direction of José Pinheiro, for example in Schattenmund (1983), a film that earned Claire Pinheiro a César nomination in the Best Editing category , and in the thriller The Panther (1985) with Alain Delon . Another film she edited was Alexandre Jardin's romantic comedy Fanfan & Alexandre (1993), starring Sophie Marceau and Vincent Perez . Pinheiro was most recently active in film in 1996.
