The Clamoux is a river in France that runs in the Aude department in the Occitanie region . It rises in the Montagne Noire , in the municipality of Castans , just on the border with the neighboring department of Tarn , generally drains south to southwest and flows into the Orbiel after 33 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Malves-en-Minervois and Bouilhonnac as a left tributary .
