Clandestino - Undercover in the Underworld , also known under the title Unter Gangstern , is a Spanish documentary series by the television channel DMAX and the successor to the 6-part documentary series Clandestino - The organized crime on the Amazon . Both series are moderated by reporter David Beriain .

The reporter David Beriain travels around the world to work alongside criminals and crime-fighting units to gain close-up insights into machinations such as drug smuggling and trade , arms trafficking , grave robbery and kidnapping and to document this. He personally meets leaders, members, backers, victims and opponents of criminal organizations such as the Sinaloa cartel and street gangs such as the Mara Salvatrucha , or the Italian Camorra and the Albanian mafia .
