Clara Tauson (born December 21, 2002 in Gentofte ) is a Danish tennis player .

Career

Tauson, who started playing tennis at the age of six, prefers playing on clay courts. She mostly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has won four individual titles so far.

In April 2017, she played in Šiauliai against Egypt for the first time for the Danish Fed Cup team . She was able to win two of her six games so far.

In 2019 Tauson won the junior singles title at the Australian Open . Shortly afterwards, she also won the $ 60,000 tournament in Shenzhen and climbed to 407th in the ITF Women's Circuit.
