Clarence Sinclair "Hec" Edmundson (born August 3, 1886 in Moscow , Idaho , † August 6, 1964 in Seattle ) was an American sprinter , middle-distance runner and basketball coach.
In 1909 he became US champion over 880 yards .
At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 he reached the semifinals over 400 m and was seventh over 800 m .
As a basketball coach, he worked from 1916 to 1918 at his alma mater, the University of Idaho , and from 1920 to 1947 at the University of Washington .
