Clarence Greene
Clarence Greene (* 10. August 1913 in New York City , New York ; † 17th June 1995 California ) was an American screenwriter and film producer , who wrote the screenplay for Pillow Talk 1960 the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay was awarded.
Career
Greene wrote his first screenplay for the film The Town Went Wild in 1944 . His work for City in Turmoil earned an Oscar and Writers Guild of America Award nomination. Greene received a Golden Globe nomination in 1953 , along with Russell Rouse , for the screenplay I'm a Nuclear Spy . At the Academy Awards in 1960, Greene, along with Russell Rouse, Maurice Richlin and Stanley Shapiro, received the Oscar for the comedy Bed Whisper .
