Clarissa Stadler
Clarissa Stadler (* 1966 in Vienna ) is an Austrian journalist , presenter and writer .
Life
Clarissa Stadler grew up in Germany, Belgium and Austria and studied commercial science . From 1990 she wrote texts and articles for the standard and the weekly newspaper Falter as well as for other domestic and foreign media. She began her career at ORF in the Salzburg regional studio and later worked in the editorial department of the Ö3 radio show Die Musicbox . Then she did a television internship at the Franco-German cultural broadcaster ARTE .
Stadler has worked for the ORF television culture department since March 1997, including as a culture presenter for the period in Bild from March 1999 to April 2007 and in 2003 as the presenter of the cultural program “karls.platz”.
In 2000 Clarissa Stadler married the television journalist Robert Hochner , who died on June 12, 2001.
In 2005 she made her writing debut with the novel “N. A little utopia ”. From 2009 to 2012 she moderated the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize ; from 2010 she presented this event in Klagenfurt on 3sat .
Culture Monday
From April 2007 she hosted the ORF program Kulturmontag . At the end of January 2012, she retired from the screen as a presenter, but announced that she would continue to work as culture editor at ORF. For a short time, ORF journalist Nadja Bernhard took over the moderation of Culture Monday . When Bernhard then switched to co-presenter for the news program Zeit im Bild (ZIB) at the turn of the year , Stadler returned to Culture Monday - much to the delight of TV culture director Martin Traxl , who now alternates between directing the programs with her. Traxl emphasized that with Stadler, who is familiar to the viewers as a competent companion, the continuity of the program was guaranteed.
