Claudia Tietje

Claudia Tietje (born March 21, 1973 in Otterndorf ; † January 11, 2013 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

After graduating from high school in 1993, Tietje studied political science at the Free University of Berlin from 1993 to 2001 . From 1997 to 2004 she was a freelancer at n-tv . From 2007 to 2011 she worked at Bartels Development Company. Since 2008 she has been working as a freelance consultant and communications officer.

In 1996 Tietje joined the SPD, where she was state party delegate. From 1997 to 1999 she was parliamentary leader of the SPD parliamentary group in the Prenzlauer Berg district assembly , from 1999 to 2001 she was a member there.

From 2001 to 2006 Tietje was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives . On March 1, 2011, she moved up again for Susann Engert in the House of Representatives. Tietje last represented the Pankow constituency and was a member of the culture committee.

She died on January 11, 2013 after a serious illness.
