Claudio Cipolla (born February 11, 1955 in Goito , Mantua province , Italy) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Padua .

Life

Claudio Cipolla received on 24 May in 1980 by Bishop Carlo Ferrari the priesthood for the Diocese of Mantua .

On July 18, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Padua . The bishop of Mantua, Roberto Busti , ordained him episcopal on September 27th of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Patriarch of Venice , Francesco Moraglia , the Old Bishop of Mantua, Egidio Caporello , and the General Secretary of the Italian Bishops' Conference , Bishop Nunzio Galantino . The inauguration in the Diocese of Padua took place on October 18, 2015.
