Claus Nageler
Claus Nageler (born May 11, 1943 in Eisenach ; † July 6, 2017 ) was a German sculptor .
Life
Nageler studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and was a master student of Hans Ladner . He was also a private student of the freelance artist Elmar Dietz and in 1974 received the promotional award for fine arts from the City of Munich .
In 1995 the "Free School" for sculpture was founded. He was a member of the Munich Secession , the Association of Franconian Artists and the “Die Roseninsel” cultural association.
Nageler received orders for municipalities, churches and institutions. He lived in Percha on Lake Starnberg. He participated in exhibitions in the Haus der Kunst in Munich, in Kulmbach , in the Hollerhaus Irschenhausen , in Plauen , Augsburg and in France, Italy and Taipei .
