Cletus Chandrasiri Perera
Cletus Chandrasiri Perera OSB (born September 6, 1947 in Seeduwa ) is a Sri Lankan priest and Bishop of Ratnapura .
Life
Cletus Chandrasiri Perera joined the order of the Benedictines on February 28, 1965, made solemn profession on February 17, 1971 and was ordained a priest on August 4, 1973 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Ratnapura on May 4, 2007, and he was instituted on July 28 of the same year.
The episcopal ordination donated him the Bishop of Kandy , Joseph Vianney Fernando , on July 11th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Albert Malcolm Ranjith Patabendige Don , Secretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Order of the Sacraments , and Harold Anthony Perera , Bishop of Galle .
