Clinton Dillard lives from smuggling birds in Florida . He finds his brother dead in his house, the traces point to a murder. Dillard also finds a tape recording apparently wanted by the killers.
Dillard tries on his own to find the culprit. The former prostitute and girlfriend of his brother Nadine Powers helps him with this. Attorney Dorsey Pratt provides some pointers.
Dillard and Powers arrive in Costa Rica . There they discover that arms deliveries to Nicaraguan rebels are being financed with drug money.
Reviews
The lexicon of international films described the film as " action-packed ". The intention of denouncing the financing of the rebels through drug deals " fizzles out ".

Ellen Barkin and Morgan Freeman were nominated for the CableACE Award in 1989.
