The 2016 Coalition was a coalition of seven Gambian political parties and one independent candidate. It was founded to support a unified candidate of the Gambian opposition in the 2016 presidential election in Gambia .

The coalition selected real estate developer and United Democratic Party (UDP) leader Adama Barrow as its presidential candidate. Barrow officially left UDP to run as an independent candidate, with his candidacy continuing to be supported by UDP through its membership in the coalition.

In addition to the UDP, the People's Democratic Organization for Independence and Socialism (PDOIS), the National Reconciliation Party (NRP), the Gambia Moral Congress (GMC), the National Convention Party (NCP), the People's Progressive Party (PPP), the Gambia Party for Democracy and Progress (GPDP) and independent candidate and women's rights activist Isatou Touray joined the coalition.
