  • The People's Democratic Organization for Independence and Socialism (PDOIS) ( German  Democratic People's Organization for Independence and Socialism ) is a socialist party in Gambia . The party's motto is: " Freedom, dignity and prosperity " ( English " Liberty, Dignity and Prosperity " ).

    history

    In the presidential elections on October 18, 2001, their leader Sidia Jatta came fifth with 3.2 percent of the vote. In the last general election for the National Assembly on January 17, 2002, the party won three out of 48 seats.
