Cobalt tungstate is an inorganic chemical compound of cobalt from the group of tungstates with the formula CoWO 4 .

Extraction and presentation

Cobalt tungstate can be obtained by reacting sodium tungstate with cobalt (II) sulfate . It was found in burning coal mines as the mineral krasnoselskite .

use

Cobalt tungstate is used as a pigment , drying agent for glazes, inks and paints, and as a catalyst .
