Cobalt tungstate is an inorganic chemical compound of cobalt from the group of tungstates with the formula CoWO 4 .
Extraction and presentation
Cobalt tungstate can be obtained by reacting sodium tungstate with cobalt (II) sulfate . It was found in burning coal mines as the mineral krasnoselskite .

Cobalt tungstate is a greenish-blue to blue-black crystalline, odorless solid that is insoluble in water. It has a monoclinic crystal structure with the space group P 2 / c (space group no. 13) .
use
Cobalt tungstate is used as a pigment , drying agent for glazes, inks and paints, and as a catalyst .
