Catherine Altar of the Philosophical Faculty

The northwest chapel of the Salzburg Collegiate Church is dedicated to the Philosophical Faculty. On the altar sheet, it is attributed to Johann Georg Bergmüller , St. Catherine of Alexandria is shown being carried up by angels, below her an (unknown) donor, with a floor plan in her left hand. The side statues are the hll. Lanfrankus and Beda Venerabilis , both by Josef Anton Pfaffinger .

In the wall niches are the statues of St. Josef von Nazaret ( Pfaffinger ), Joachim , Anna and Johann Bap. ( Pfaffinger ).
