The Communauté de communes des Hautes Baronnies is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes on the southern tip of the Drôme department , whose administrative seat was in Séderon . Its name referred to the Baronnie's landscape , the high elevations of which it included. The community association founded on December 23, 1999 consisted of 12 communities on an area of 246.0 km 2 .
tasks
The competencies required included the development and promotion of economic activities and tourism as well as spatial planning based on a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale . The community association determined the housing policy and operated the road maintenance, the garbage collection and disposal.
Historical development
The community association merged with effect from January 1, 2017
- Communauté de communes du Pays de Rémuzat ,
- Communauté de communes du Val d'Eygues and
- Communauté de communes du Pays du Buis-les-Baronnies
and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes des Baronnies en Drôme Provençale .
