The Communauté de communes du Sud-Ouest du Calaisis was a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It was founded on December 27, 1996 and comprised nine parishes. The administrative seat was in Bonningues-lès-Calais .

Historical development

On January 1, 2017, the community association was merged with the Communauté de communes des Trois Pays to form the new Communauté de communes Pays d'Opale . Notwithstanding this, the municipalities of Escalles, Fréthun, Hames-Boucres, Les Attaques and Nielles-lès-Calais were incorporated into the Communauté d'agglomération du Calaisis .
