Saint-Tricat ( Flemish : Sinterkaas ) is a French municipality with 760 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016: Nord-Pas-de-Calais ) . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Calais , the canton of Calais-1 (until 2015: canton of Calais-Nord-Ouest ) and the community association Communauté de communes des Trois Pays . The inhabitants are called Merkenesiens .

Saint-Tricat is about six kilometers south-southwest of Calais . Saint-Tricat is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nielles-lès-Calais in the north, Hames-Boucres in the south and east, Pihen-lès-Guînes in the southwest and Bonningues-lès-Calais in the south.
