Recques-sur-Hem ( Dutch : Rekke aan de Hem ) is a French municipality with 631 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Calais and the canton of Marck (until 2015: canton of Ardres ).

Recques-sur-Hem is about 20 kilometers southeast of Calais am Hem . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park .

Recques-sur-Hem is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Zutkerque in the north and west, Polincove in the northeast, Muncq-Nieurlet in the east and northeast, Nordausques in the south and Zouafques in the west and southwest.
