Nordausques ( Flemish : Noord-Elseke ) is a municipality in northern France with a population of 1,273 (as of January 1, 2017). It belongs to the Hauts-de-France region , the Nord department , the Saint-Omer arrondissement and the Saint-Omer canton (until 2015: Ardres canton ).

geography

Nordausques is located about six kilometers northwest of Saint-Omer and borders on Recques-sur-Hem in the north, Muncq-Nieurlet in the northeast, Bayenghem-lès-Éperlecques in the east and southeast, Nort-Leulinghem in the south, Tournehem-sur-la-Hem in the west and southwest and Zouafques in the northwest. The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park .

The A26 autoroute runs through the municipality .
