Nielles-lès-Bléquin ( Dutch Nieles ) is a French municipality with 847 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Omer and the canton of Lumbres . The inhabitants are called Niellois .
geography
Nielles-lès-Bléquin is located about 17 kilometers southwest of Saint-Omer on the Bléquin river , a tributary of the Aa . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park .
Nielles-lès-Bléquin is surrounded by the neighboring communities Seninghem in the north, Affringues in the north-east, Wismes in the east and south-east, Vaudringhem in the south and Bléquin in the west.
