Coulomby is located about 17 kilometers west-southwest of Saint-Omer . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park . Coulomby is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Alquines in the north, Bouvelinghem in the northeast, Seninghem in the south and east and Quesques in the west.

The National Route 42 runs through the municipality .
