Quelmes ( Dutch Kelmes ) is a French municipality with 576 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France (formerly Nord-Pas-de-Calais ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Omer and the canton of Lumbres .

geography

Quelmes is about seven kilometers west of Saint-Omer . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park .

Neighboring municipalities of Quelmes are Moringhem in the north, Zudausques in the northeast, Leulinghem in the east, Setques in the south and southeast, Lumbres in the south, Acquin-Westbécourt in the west and Boisdinghem in the northwest.
