Alquines is a French municipality with 999 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France (formerly Nord-Pas-de-Calais ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Omer and the canton of Lumbres .

Alquines is about 18 kilometers west of Saint-Omer . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park . Neighboring communities of Alquines are Journy in the north, Quercamps in the northeast, Bouvelinghem in the east, Coulomby in the south, Quesques and Escœuilles in the southwest and Haut-Loquin in the west.
